Since i was awake and energize this morning, after some light breakfast of banana and cereal, i head down to my jogging track together with my faithful Adi Mana and my rather new companion, the Sansa Clip.

Today when i jogged, it felt like the air is a little to thick, or heavy. I've been always noticing this whenever i did my jogging in the morning but new once i look up in the internet to see what is it actually. So i did a little research.

But sadly i can find much about the fact that there is more oxygen in air in the morning compared to at any other time. But i do stumble across some people saying that it is indeed heavy with oxygen and there is less pollution in the air. That might be the answer to my question, but i think i'll look further into it.

and while i did the research i did found some interesting fact about the how-to of jogging. Let me list some of it.

#breathe in using your nose, and breathe out with your mouth.
#instead of moving your rib cage, use your stomach to breathe. It get more oxygen.

Today

Today after 4 month of no lecture, no assignment and no books, finally today i'm back doing all those regular student stuff.

Class started as early as 9 am but i'm already on my feet by 6.30. and the best part is, i though today class started at 8, because i though today is Wednesday. Silly me. So because of that, i was a little sleepy in Fluid Mechanics II class, but still managed to focus on important parts.

Surprise surprise to see all of them people back. Some have changed, some still the same old. and it's a little odd to see many Chinese present even though they suppose to be in their Chinese New Year holiday still. Even some of the Malay guys still haven't come back. pfft.

And today i did track check for my soon to be jogging routine. Sadly i my phone required internet connection to upload the recorded activity straight to the Website. This time it's about 4.4km of jogging path covering from v5 all the way passing the mosque, one round of the Grand Lake and back again in v5. Just perfect for a daily workout.

Holiday which about to ends.

As of today, I have less than a month before going back to Universities, continuing my studies as a 2nd year 2nd semester student. We have been having our lengthy 4 month break since last year October and it's about to end real soon.

Im not sure how your holiday goes but i tell you, mine is superb!

The Revival

I use to own a bicycle, a mountain bike, like any other kids during school day. It's the best type of transportation any kids can afford to, and legal! But ever since finishing school, the old bike of mine was sent to the hall of trash where, all the bicycle reside.

But because i'm short of money and i'm going to start working at Petrosains soon, i've decided to revive my old dusty, sticky, broken bicycle.

The broken bicycle, stripping the old paint off.

It was hard work i tell you, stripping the paint off, taking off the part, spraying the body frame, waiting it to dry, spending money of buying stuff. Hard work! But all of that pays off as i have a new bike to get me to my workplace.

Now it doesn't look like this. Some of the paint wear off ;(

Volunteering @ Petrosains

1 and a quarter month i've worked in Petrosains. Frankly, it's the most joyous and easy going job i've ever had. You just have to get to work by 9a.m. and get back at 6p.m. and trust me, the time goes by like nothing if you are in the centre. So many people to entertain, so many activities, you won't even notice it's the end of the day. But my time wasn't long there since Petrosains do have a lot, i mean a LOT of Volunteer, so getting a working day in a week is quite troublesome. Sometimes, I only work once in a week. That ain't a job XD And luckily i've got a chance for something else.

At first i'm just an ordinary volunteer until one day Haswan(PIC for volunteer programme) called and after some yada yada moment later, he offer me for a position as a temp staff since they really need some extra manpower. And when i went to the office, hell, they do really need some serious manpower. Imagine, the team that organizing an International event like LIMA only need less than 10 staff. It was crazy i tell you the job. But we managed to pull it off, and this LIMA has proven to be a success, we even gained profit unlike LIMA'07.

It was a wonderful experience, both bitter and sweet. But what most important is that it thought me how to deal with life, with 'different' kind of people, how to rescue yourself, how to manage, how to work professionally. I can't thank enough to them.


Current

Suprisingly, im at UTP now. Teheee. Despite having still 3 weeks left of holiday, I decided it is time to get back, doing what i suppose to do during the semester break, preparing for 2012 Robocon Competition. ;p And now we are left with tonnes of pending work to do for the competition. But still, you will find me at Langkawi Island again at 17th till 19th January for a vacation with the Robocon member, celebrating our last year victories on getting 2nd runner up in the National competition.

3 months since

Hello and Good Friday.

How you guys been doing? Me? I still haven't getting off the LIMA blues. Not in the mean time. But particularly, today i somewhat miss my life in UTP and quite eager to write a post about it. teheee.

Universiti Teknologi Petronas. It has been around 3 month since i've set my foot there. It has been 3 month since i've tasted the humid, dry, and unpredictable weather. It has been 3 month since I put my back on that small but comfy bed inside my cozy room. Seriously i miss you UTP.




and i'll probably regret saying this after 2 weeks back in UTP for the new Semester. haha ;)

2 day of sleepless night due to 2 test. I swear i'm not going to do anything at home later this evening. I just wanna lay in my bed. i'm not picking up my phone, just left a message at the tone. no no no no no nono no.

craps.

Tension.

Sometimes i question the syllabus learn in my course. I might not be that smart but i just don't understand of learning all of the thing that i won't even apply in my life. It just stress me to think that hey, all of these stuff you struggle to learn, won't be much of use when working. the hell?

I don't know what lies in front of me, 2 year, 3 years from now, but i'm sure it's not going to involve in matrix and stuff. Gosh.

Robocon 2011 updates

Last word

Hey guys, just a short post.

I'll be departing to USIM, Nilai tomorrow morning for our Robocon 2011 competition which will officially start on Tuesday. Today will be the last day we practice the robots in the lab and tomorrow we will be at Nilai and preparing all the stuff for the competition.

If you haven't notice, it has been a year since i joined Petrobot and the robocon team. Approximately a year have gone, and honestly i think we still have a long way to go before the competition but InsyaAllah i hope for the best in both team(Primax and Syntium). We have come far, a year of preparation, short semester break, and all those sacrifices we have done, and now it is time for us to shine, to show how much effort we have put into.

Do pray for us, for our team to be a great success. InsyaAllah we will do our best at the competition. I really hope people can send me text messages saying good luck and stuff because let me assure you, you'll make my day. Pray that one week later i will return and write some good report about our competition.

HAPPY 2ND ANNIVERSARY MAY09ERS.

Looking back prior to this date, i see a young teenage boy, wanting to start a new life, a new life in university. Well, obviously that boy is me. 2 years had come and go, within these 2 years, i have learn a lot, i learn how it feels to be falling for someone and got rejected, i learn how to motivate myself, i learn awfully a lot of engineering related stuff and most importantly, i learn how to be myself.

2 years has ended and another 3 more years to go. O' Allah, give me success and guide me through all these pain, tears and sweats to become a better person. Amin.

Hey all, Sorry for being a little lazy to update this blog. I have been quite busy these day with my robocon competition getting nearer with approximately 19 days left to prepare. And 2 day back i just got back from a fishing trip at Kelong in Lumut. Going to talk about that later(haven't retrieve the photo yet.)

So, if you knew i already move on. I'm no longer staying at the hot and dry village 1 but rather cool and environment friendly v5. My room is located in v5c just beside the futsal court at v5.

So how does it feels? Other that it is located at the highest floor, and the room space is a little cramped compared to v1 and more compared to v6. Other than that, everything is fine. The room as you can see from the photo are nicely designed and arranged. The table are very wide, which means i can have my laptop near but at the same time i can do my homework on the same table. without scarifying much space.

Since it is a house consist of 6 rooms, it also have a 2 bathroom and 2 toilet, and also a kitchen. Damn right. Now i can enjoy my maggi more. hehe.

So there you go, my new room for improvement. Hopefully being a Second year student officially, i can improve my life and more importantly my challenges. Happy studying!

How's life? Great? Well good for you! Thank God, my life have been to it's original course. Atleast that's what i thought.

Currently busy studying. Yes. Wow. Never expect to hear that word from me huh? Well, its the ugly truth. I'm studying. Hell, i dont want to repeat the same mistake of not getting high mark for Test and only depending on final exam. *yea*

Extra curricular wise, the progress of my team robots slows down since it it very much almost completed. *Thank God*. Oh, next week there will be FESCO again, here in this very university. I kinda looking forward for it as, my last experience with it is quite delightful.(Those time are my early time of photography. Good times.)

Another two week going to be my mid semester break. Horraaaahhhhh? Not so. The holiday begins on Wednesday and ends on Sunday. *Bummer* Well, i guess i'm not in a good term with long period holiday.

Tech update - Will be upgrading my current 2.1 Speaker system, The legendary(not so) Sonic Gear 3nity. Not sure of what brand next, but definitely something better than the previous
system.

Good news is the Malaysian students at Egypt are safe and some even have safely arrived back to their origin land. Despite that, different situation occurs in UTP.

There's random blackout and also unstable internet connection. Even a normal site like Youtube have been blocked by the ITMS department(the one that handle the internet connection here). To be honest I don't have idea why they did that but darn, make sure they have a good reason.

Well, that is not all I want to mention here. What really caught my attention is the reaction by the students of UTP. Some were just like kids. Really. Bragging bragging and not really reasoning. Come on, blaming on UTP for not getting up to the Unversiti Teknologi Petronas name, but hell, you are not up for the title, students of UTP. Not with that behavior.

I mean really, of course i'm very much pissed with crap internet connection but atleast i have one. What if they decided to full block our internet. Well, that's almost unbearable right?

I don't want to argue about this. It's a waste of time. Well, my time. But then again, I hope this matter can be settled once Chinese New Year ends or atleast before majority comes back from the holiday. I mean seriously. I don't want a bad connection when i'm doing my online quizzes. Seriously.

tiap tiap malam mesti dengan bunyi tu, bukan bunyi hantu ar, bunyi aluminium (atau aluminum kalau orang US) bergesel dengan mata gergaji. Lagi sakit bunyi kalau mesin gergaji automatik digunakan. tapi nak wat macam mana, kalau dah kerja bertukang tak sah la kalau tak bertemankan bunyi macam ni.

Robocon. Ni merupakan salah satu sebab aku stay dekat UTP walaupun orang lain tengah sibuk seronok seronok tengok Tron 3D, tengok bola Malaysia lawan Vietnam, main paintball, dan segala aktiviti yang remaja remaja sekarang selalu buat masa cuti sekolah .

Mesti ada korang yang pelik asal la aku join mnde2 pelik macam ni. Dahla tak dapat duit belanja, femes pon tak femes, tapi hampir setiap hari kena pergi lab la, meeting la, robocon sana la, robocon sini la. Roomate aku, kalau korang kenal la, pon selalu tanya. Jawapan dia simple jer. Minat.



Okay tipu. Aku tak minat. Frankly speaking, aku tak minat pon sebenarnya hal robot2 ni. Aku lebih minat dekar automotive. Macam Shell Eco Challenge tu. (nak join dah tapi takut tak dapat bagi comittment. :P)Tapi kenapa aku minat sebab kerja dia. Aku suka kerja2 teknikal dia. Potong besi, skru, gerudi, sambung bahagian. Macam masa kecik2 dulu, amek screwdriver, bukak keter mainan, bukak screw dia, bajet leh upgrade ar lgi laju ke. Yup sebab itu. Aku suka buat menda mcam ni. Dan secara tak langsung aku dapat gak belajar time mangement, segala menda2 yang korang belajar dari masuk event2 tu. Sama la.


Hahaha. Asal la aku tetiba buat post pasal robocon ni. Sangap robot ke apa? haha. takdela. sebab aku bosan. sekian :p

pengalaman kereta langgar lembu

kalau orang cakap dekat ambang maut tu, segala cerita hidup kita macam flash back di saat kita nak temu ajal, aku tak percaya sampailah incident pagi semalam.

Pagi tu, selepas berseronok2 main bowling dan lepaskan stress exam, maklumlah pagi tu ada exam Statics. Kiteorang sampai UTP balik ada la dalam pukul 12 mcm tu. tak nak keluar lama2 sangat yerla semua ada hal nak kena uruskan. So pagi tu, penulis dah beli tiket tren dri Batu Gajah untuk ke KL Central. Nak berisitrehat di rumah sebelum pulang untuk ber'robocon'kan diri ni untuk sepanjang cuti semester.

berbalik kepada cerita, mintakla tolong roomate untuk hntrkan ke stesen KTM. dalam perjalanan tu, tak disangka2 kiteorang eksiden. Masa tu ya rabbi, tergumam, flash back tu takde la tapi terdiam jugakla bila tetiba nampak segerombolan(betul ke ni?) lembu tengah melintas. time tu kereta ada la dalam 70 atau paling laju 90km/h dengan tempat gelap lagi, tiba2 je nampak lembu melintas. penulis sempat cakap "weh lembu tu".

BAMMMM. serpihan kaca berterbangan hinggap di baju.

Permulaan selalunya payah.

Dan memang betul. Setiap permulaan dalam hidup mesti melalui perkara yg susah/penat/payah. Cuba tengok kelahiran kita, nak bersalin. Untuk kita senangla, slide jer keluar, tapi bagi ibu bapa macam ne?? Si Ibu memang kena tanggung rasa sakit la kalau nak bersalin, si Ayahnya pula kena tanggung si Isteri dan juga anak.

Cuba tengok permulaan sekolah. Kena buat persiapan dulu. Beli baju sekolah, seluar sekolah, kasut sekolah, rambut kena potong gaya sekolah, alat tulis sekolah, senang cakap semua benda sekolah la kena beli.

Nak masuk University pon same, baju kena beli, kasut baru, cadar, bantal, laptop, lagi banyak.

Nak contoh lagi? Haa....



Nak masuk semester baru pon tak terkecuali. Hari ni baru hari pertama Semester 1 tahun 1 kat UTP. Serabut takyah cakapla. Jadual salahla, kelas cancel la, daftar sana, daftar sini, jumpa lecturer baru. Memang susah/payah dan memenatkan. Tapi disebalik sesuatu kesusahan tu ada hikmahnya. Mungkin sekarang ni semua tengah konfius lagi tapi lepas ni bila smua dah start, tutorial, lab dah start insyaalllah smua akan lancar.

Peh, rajin gak en update blog walaupun kat UTP nih? Yerla hari2 awal memang la mcm ni. Tak de kerja, bosan dan jadual pon tak padat lagi. Berblogging jerla kerjanya.

Berbalik kepada tajuk bilik, keadaan bilik agak sama macam yg lama, cuma ruang almari lebih besar la, memang terbaik tapi slack kayu macam dah reput. Bukan mcm almari kayu yang baru baru tuh. Rak pon ada, so kalau nak simpan buku memang senang. Katil OK. single size jer, nak king size tuh kena duduk kat kediaman Rektor tuh.

Rush

Apa itu rush? Kalau kite usha Google apa maksud Rush tu, benda pertama yg keluar adalah berkenaan Band "RUSH". Band yg femes ngan lagu Saturday Night Fever atau Stayin Alive. Betul ke ni? bukan lagu tu kumpulan Bee Gees ke yg perform? Haaaa. betul la tu. saje je nak test ilmu muzik 60'an.

Okayla, sebenarnya bukan nak cakap pasal band musik ke apa, cuma nak cakap pasal Rush, atau lepas dialih bahasa menjadi "melakukan sesuatu dengan cepat" atau "pergerakkan". Senang cakap, sekarang ni tengah cuak nak masuk Sem baru. Yerla, dah masuk Undergraduate, feeling dia rasa lain sikit. Mungkin nnti ada classmate baru, budak2 matrix atau yg lain2, ada jugak classmate yg dah takde :( :( :( , lecturer of cos yg baru, jadual pun mesti baru, Subjek pon mestila baru jugak, mungkin lagi susah dari sebelum ni :<


Rasa mcam nak masuk Form 1. Macam nak masuk Orientasi la kan. Cuak sape yg duk kat sebelah dalam kelas, siapa cikgu kelas. Harap2 bukan cikgu garang. Nak tengok awek mana yg baru masuk sekolah. hehehe. Biasa la kan tu?


Tapi bila masuk alam universiti ni lain la. pasal awek tu *ehem* ada jugak la en, takleh nafi la, dah kata lelaki. Tapi sekarang ni rasa tanggungjawab tu dah bertambah. Tak boleh main2 lagi macam masa foundation dulu. Tak boleh nak main facebook tiap malam sampai tido ntah kemana. Lepas ni tak mau dah tido macam beruang yg berhibernasi, nak guna masa yg ada dengan bijak. cewwwah.


Lastly, Mari kembali ke Universiti :)

sekarang dah pukul 2.56 pagi. 4 minit lagi nak pukul 3. Sekarang tengah kemas barang untuk STE esok. STE tu pe? Secara ringkasnya, STE(Soaring the Eagle) tu adalah satu program khas unutk Scholar Petronas untuk membina peribadi para scholar ntuk jadi lebih baik kot. Hahaha, serius tak tau apa tujuan dia tapi rasanya yg tu kot. haha.

Anyway, tengah kemas2 baju neh. Almari baru nak smpai Isnin nanti, tapi ak takde plak so kena wat kerja2 mengemas/ menyelongkar/ merompak? almari dan mngeluarkan segala isi yg dah tak tersusun langsung sejak masuk Uni. Yerla saper la yg rajin sgt nak kemas, time balik jer mana sempat, enjoy, keluar, online mmg takde masa langsung nak kemas almari. Nasib baik ada Mama yg rajin mengemas dan kadang2 usha gak la Almari tu.

Okay dah lari tajuk, ok jom balik kepada tajuk balik shall we?

Hello, kira kira 7 hari dan satu tahun seblum hari ni, cube teka hari apa? Teka lagi. Bukan. Apa dia? Haaa. betul la tu. Hari bermulanya kehidupan di UTP. 30 May 2009. Mula menjejakkan kaki ke UTP. sebelum ni sumpah tak pernah dengar nama UTP until ada kawan ajak hntr borang. Since UTP ada mekanikal engineering yg offer automotive specialisation bila kt Undergrad nnti, terus hantar borang applikasi. Alhamdullilah dapat :) walaupun x dapat Oversea. huhuhu.

Masa first week kt UTP macam biasalah, kena Orientasi. Unlike orientasi kat sekolah which is amat boring, orientasi kat sini agak bes cuma penat gler babang. Tapi bila dah jadi facee untuk budak budak MAY 10, baru tau, jadi Facee berkali2 lagi penat!

Anyway, bila result final sem keluar ramailah yg happy tapi ada jugak yg x de rezeki, pastu ada jugak yg kena wat supplimentary exam, bukan repeat paper yg kata sesetengah orang. Pastu tunggu, tunggu, berita akhirnya keluar. Ramai yg nak keluar dari UTP. Antara sebab, x cukup pointer ntuk secure scholar, kena repeat paper tapi kena tunggu agak lama untuk ulang balik, mmbazir masa kot, ada yg mmg nak keluar tak tahan duk UTP(yg ni tak tau betul ke tak, reka je ;p)


Rasanya baru semalam keteorng enjoy kt program foundateam. buat2 pyramid pastu kena melalui sungai invisible yg ada buaya dan Shouq dengan malangnya dah terkorban. hahaha. Pastu rasa mcam semalam je korang smua masuk Trimester Carnival. Tengok korang men bola baling. Tengok orang main badminton smpai injured. Tengok futsal sampai ada orang kena Tumbuk. Ouch! ;) Pastu ada tarik tali, gambar smua ada kat aku lagi :) Pastu finally ada Dinner. Rasa mcam semalam je kan?


Rasanya walaupun cuma setahun tapi rasanya dah byk yg kteorang lalui. Jap nak usha folder photo, hmm... Convofair, foundateam, DTE, Euphonious, Trimester Carnival, outdoor carnival, IRC carnival. Rasa mcam semalam.

Kepada yg nak/ terpaksa keluar dari UTP tu (kakjah, muniras, syafiq rapidshare, nabil n izzati ) ak harap korang lebih berjaya lepas ni. Mungkin korang x ditakdirkan graduate dri UTP tapi maybe korang akan jadi lagi successful dari kiteorang yg kt UTP ni perhaps? Apa pun ak doakan korang berjaya, dan smua ni ada hikmahnya. Mungkin korang rase sedih tapi takpe, facebook ada, number ada, blog ada, kalau rindu leh contact. Jangan bila da belajar kt tempat lain lupa kawan lama sudahla enn. Neway all the BEST!

sekarang dah pukul 3.18. Process mengemas belum siap lagi, tengok ak sanggup tulis blog panjang2 dari wat kerja lagi penting. Korang patut berbangga. HAHAHA. okay dah cukup.



Rasanya yg masih stay tu, mungkin Bye bye kat korang lambat lagi rasanya, cuma ada ucapan Nice to see you again! Jumpe next sem yaw! Jom enjoy hidup sebagai Undergrad :)

3 day 2 night

I know the title sounds familiar. Today I'll be your host for episode 1: Jalan-jalan balik UTP. Actually I wanted to write everything about my trip from Kl to UTP then back to Kl again but since KJD have already written a lovely post about it(read here) I decided to do a little comic for a much better entertainment for all. Enjoy :)

































Because the next scene was so censored and the writer happen to become lazy, the comic have to end on the second day. Well, the last day was the best day for me though. I have a 12 hour, probably more sleep than I ever had. The previous night I even have late night supper with fellow foreigner. Nice.
