3 day 2 night

I know the title sounds familiar. Today I'll be your host for episode 1: Jalan-jalan balik UTP. Actually I wanted to write everything about my trip from Kl to UTP then back to Kl again but since KJD have already written a lovely post about it(read here) I decided to do a little comic for a much better entertainment for all. Enjoy :)

Because the next scene was so censored and the writer happen to become lazy, the comic have to end on the second day. Well, the last day was the best day for me though. I have a 12 hour, probably more sleep than I ever had. The previous night I even have late night supper with fellow foreigner. Nice.

Anyway the journey comes to an end soon and the last thing we know we arrived at KL Central then we have our meal, FINALLY! Then followed by the last post about the damn KTM train. Oh well. I better get going. See ya!

E3 vs World Cup

On the sports calender I guess we all have noticed about the World Cup that has begun in South Africa for some couple of day. But for gamers, their big event of the year has just started. WELCOME TO E3. The Electronic Entertainment Expo.

VS

While i think that most of the so called "Gamers" population have noticed of this big event of the year i guess the rest of you people wouldn't even heard about it. Yeah2 I know the worldcup spirit is everywhere now. Yes. I felt it to. And as a casual gamer and also a casual footballer I did dig up on both events first thing in the morning.

While you can go on to view on E3 update anywhere else in the Game-based website, there is actually a thing almost all of the footballers have in common. Cars. Fast exotic cars. And guess what, the one of the greatest race car games in history are back. The NEED FOR SPEED HOT PURSUIT. Hit the trailer below. It's EPIC!

After watching that you might be wondering what games developer did this game? Ever heard of Burnout series? Great games those are. They are made by the Criterion. And for this particular NFS series, the Criterion will be the back-bone of this game. Awkward. But I see a very promising fast-paced race car. Damn. Now I just need to upgrade my laptop :/

Anyhow, I have been very bored staying in the house for quite some time now. Anyone of you would like a time to hang out with me huh? Bored already.

GERMANY FTW

On a happier note, Germany won 4 nill against Australia. Man I wish I didn't miss the match earlier. By looking the highlight, damn their play are great! Fast paced I can say and just WOW!!!

You can see the highlight below, I'm not sure about the full match. Maybe there will be some streaming out there in the Online world.

Anyway just enjoy the highlight. It was awesome! :)

I think starting this day onward, Germany i'm yours. Hahahaha

Happy Monday Everyone

Assalamualaikum and very great morning everyone.

Gosh. It has been a while since i did the formal blog introduction. (hehehe. Just feel like it). I know I have been less reproduction this couple of days, I was not busy, but as a matter of fact, I am busy, busy with movies. Ever since I got back, I was very much become a movie pirate. If you know what I means. hehe. But still, Support the Movie Industry! I do to. sometimes.

Talking about movies, I was moved by this one story I had last night. Called the Blindside. Ever heard of it? Well, it is a very nice story though. I was a story of a homeless black child, going to a school with almost all of the school population are white people. And at some time in the movie, one of the white family, The Collins, decided to adopt this black kid. They help him in very much everything until he became one of the top NFL player. Oh. FYI, NFL is that American Football stuff. One more thing that makes this movie a deserved 5-star movie is that, it's based on real story. You know just like 1 litre of tears.

Sandra Bullock rock in this movie :)

Anyway enough with the story, my point is everyone deserve a chance, a chance to be someone although some people disagree, mock, deny your action. I think we all live in a society where people have this expectation of life. Be a Doctor. Life is easier. Be a pilot. Be a dentist. The income are good. They all always had this mindset when clearly it doesn't usually happen that way. Sometimes. Heck, some doesn't even really know what they want and just moving on with the mindset of them and also the people around them.

I'm not saying about career or stuff but more to Life. Decision making. Don't do it because that what people always do. Do it because you think it was a right decision for you or the party.

****

It is still early in the morning. I usually go back to sleep right away after Subuh prayer but today I have to met my friend in KLCC. And then I wanted to get something at Sunway Pyramid as well. Damn. I miss my friends. Seriously I CAN'T WAIT TO GO BACK TO UTP!

Kick off the World Cup with new shoes :)

11 June might be a normal date for most people but for football lovers, it's a sign. A celebration of the first kick off that shows the beginning of the most anticipated games of the year, the FIFA World Cup South Africa 2010.

The kick off will be a match between the host itself, South Africa and the country of Nacho, Mexico. I'm not such a fan of the two country but my early prediction, South Africa will win. Just a hunch.

Anyway, back to the topic. Kicking off would require some shoes right? So it happen that my white casual shoes have been how do they put it, dying. The sole are getting thinner, and the sponge/ cotton/ cushion thing has gone out of comfortable level. It's still wearable though but since it has been quite a time since i had a new white casual shoes, im thinking of getting myself a new one. Sure you might be thinking, how much money that this guy had? He just used Rm1300 last week. (refer here) Well actually i don't really think i'll get the new shoes by the time of kick off, but probably after the next month allowance come in.

and one more thing, no more Onitsuka for me. It's EVERYWHERE i tell you. In the train, mall, streets, almost everywhere there is a onitsuka tiger worn be a person. I might wanted it badly a while ago but now? Nah, i got some new interest in. Say hello to Puma :D

I just happen to be in love with it's trainer and casual shoes a while ago, when i see them in one of the Japanese TV-series. Not sure what the title are but it does makes me so damn want these shoes :> Sadly i can't seems to find a local website such as Al-Ikhsan that have humongous stock list of Puma shoes. I probably have to go down to the shop itself. But cheer up here some picture of nice shoes by Puma that if i happen to encounter and selling at a good price, i might bought it straight away :)

i love this one best. And the toppest one too.

Oh now i really need some money. I heard that there are some vacancy at the Manhattan Fish Market Sunway. Maybe i should be working? hmmmm. Maybe after getting my motorcycle license first.

Get ready for a competition

Calling all photographer, beginner, amateur, semi-pro, and professional you are all invited to enter the claimed biggest Photography competition of the world. If models, have Miss Universe, the photographer have Photographer Universe. That might sound a little off really. It's the Photography of the Year 2010 competition by my favorite photography magazine, Digital Camera.

There are 11 categories including the new categories which is the Britain inspired. Other than that they have the normal portraits, landscape, wildlife, travel and also fashion. Click HERE for the website for more details. Oh and all you need to do is register online for free. That's all.

The grand price is a hefty 10 thousand pound or quid i don't know really for sure but if that were to turn to Malaysian ringgit. I'm a millionaire baby. Hahahah. That's a lie, but it sure does make someone super happy.

Anyway, i do intend to enter the competition despite knowing that i'll be competing with thousands or maybe more pro-level Photographers which definitely have much better gear than I do and might have more experience in this big big events. For me, it's just throwing the dart at the bulls eye just like in the Funfair. Putting my luck as the coin. hehe

Uh.

Today begin my journey in UTP for the next 7 days in facilitating the freshies for the May '10 batch. Legal Gambling? Oh yeah?

Yes, I'm well aware that this is the wrong timing to discussing this matter but I don't think I will discuss this matter when the final is over too. Besides, it's my free-from-books-except-facebook time of the day so what the heck.

This is the piece form Bernama

Although there is no final words given out by the government so far but for this issue to be discussed it is not a very reasonable thing to do. I want to, if possible, to express all my feeling regarding this issue here but sadly, this no place for me to do it. I might get caught for just doing that. Scary la. wooooooo~ :< style="font-style: italic;"> "Hey prostitution is wrong and sinful and brings harm to the community rather than make it worst lets make a prostitution club where we can control amount of people entering. Yeah! We can set limit per day. Atleast that will reduce the amount of people having prostitution a bit."

OR

"We really want to stop AIDS from spreading due to sharing of needles, let's give them free needles instead so that they get more drugs and less AIDS :D"

OR

"Oh my God, disposing of baby is very wrong, maybe we should give these youngster more condoms so they can have more sex without making children"

It all the same thing. Approving what is wrong from religion and moral points of view. Anyhow, Malaysia oh Malaysia my dear beloved country. I don't know what will happen to you now. I just hope by the time I became a father this will all change for good for my children sake. uh. I want to elaborate more but time is jealous of me. Got to go now. Final is in 2 days time.

Until then.

p/s: Sorry if this post is a little bit smells politics. Yeah, I hate politics to sometimes.
p/s: sorry for the harsh word.
p/s: Good Luck for finals exam :D

101 tips of survival

EDUQUEST Camp begin today and i myself decided to sleep late last night. Later i woke up pretty late, sorry if i didn't open the door a little sooner. What do you expected from university student? Weekend is like heaven on campus.

anyway, i had gone my EDUcamp session before and it was quite amazing.(at that particular time only ;p) Let's begin shall we?

-----------
DAY ONE
-----------

the morning all you do is put all you luggage to some room, whether it's at Old village 6 ( yeah, i kinda shocked when i first heard that too) for men and Village 2 for the girls. Then if i not mistaken you will continue to the Humongous Chansellor Hall for some PETRONAS video, bla bla bla, tour around campus basically nothing much happen in the first day.

Old Village 6 (v6)

There is also introduction session in the evening. there where you'll get to know your group and little about UTP.

At night, there will be some test, if i'm not mistaken Math and Science test for the engineering student and math test for others and after that end you are more than allowed to go back and have some rest. Be warned if you happen to stay in V6, you'll be staying with the seniors and they all usually sleep late and woke up late. Especially during weekends. So bear if the seniors does not put off the light like you usually do. No we don't sleep at 10 and before 12. Only on rare occurrence only.

------------
DAY TWO
------------

It's basically the busiest day in the 2 day eduquest. You'll be separeated into 2 groups. One will go to interview session first, the second will go to do the IQ and reasoning test. In the afternoon after some stomach filling moment, you will change your group, from test to interview, interview to test. Like myself, I had interviewing session on the evening and it really is great. I think by evening the interviewer is more likely to just be less aware of what you guys crap of the case study.

additional notes, for the interview session there are 2 part. One is individual and another is group. Individual interview is where you try to amaze the interviewer with all your available skill etc, and the group session is for you to present your case study.

some tips for interview:

- always made a first good impression.
- find a common ground. Something that the interviewer might interested at.(like myself i say i have a good interest in Photography and we chat a little bit about camera and stuff and i do think i made a good first impression. and yeah, i'm the only survivor of my group :) cehh poyo)
- don't stress out to much on the test. It's nothing really.
- during the case study session, do not take control too much(unless you know what ur doing), DON'T be to quiet, DON'T argue too much and in the end of the day jsut get along with the people alright. Who knew it could be your classmate in the future.
- and lastly, be polite to seniors.

I think that is all i can share with you people. Some news, i'll be the faccee for the EDUQUEST camp session 4 and i will meet you guys on 20 and 21st April. And some last word,

GOOD LUCK.(petronas interview is the easiest of them all. I can assure you.)

got anything just ask. I'm more than happy to help :D

Masa Bumi

my room.

(Light off)

It's stand for Earth Hour. I bet everyone know about it already then. Well now i think, a lot of people misunderstood the main point of the so called Earth Hour. NO! it's not going to save the earth from global warming by saving electricity just by a mere hour. That's a joke. Really.

But do you happen to know the main reason for the earth hour is for? Well, let me tell you. Its for people to be aware of the global warming. It's all about showing your support. Like honking to the people, wearing red to support MU, buying original DVD and also attending event to support something. The concept kinda the same alright.

So it's up to you guys to show your littler support. It just an hour. Once in a year dammit!!

One hour is over.

until then.(light on)

round hot stuff.

Last Saturday I went to the Internation Hot Air Balloon Fiesta 2010 right here at Putrajaya. Oh, regarding last post. I took the last option :) Full day enjoyment taking picture of BALLOONS! That might sound retarded, but it's really fun. Really!

The event is a 4 day event, starting on Thursday until Sunday and was held at Presint 2, exactly infront the 'Monumen Alaf Baru' what the hell that is. This is actually the second time this event was held in Putrajaya. How the hell I just know about this event only one day before the real thing start?? Dem, if I knew earlier, it would be more easy to make real plans, not a happy-go-lucky plan.

Anyway, I went there by the trustworthy public transport. I kinda took the wrong train but lucky I notice it soon and managed to drop off a station. After making my way to Sungai Besi KTM station, Loga, my roomate and his friend from UiTM shah Alam, Frehan arrived with Loga Civic. From there we went to the main event.

Loga n Frehan.

Redfm DJ whos Loga has fallen.

The event kinda start late that evening so we decided to fill our empty stomach and their needs to puff the killer snacks. All done and we went back to the site and by the time we are on the way, peoples started gushing to the site making the traffic quite congested at the Festival site.

Alamanda Putrajaya. First Touch down.

First Hot Air Balloon i saw.

I wish I had the photographer pass. Dem.

Above: This overblown picture looks like Japan Flag.

Mr. Handsome Balloon.

Aside from the falling exhaust tips due to misjudge of the location of a big rock, the Festival is worth the sweats and fun. I had fun. Apart from loga with his exhaust tip, i guess Everyone seems to have fun right?? Hahahaha~

Until then guys.

A new beginning?

*sparking*

*jeng*jeng*jeng*

31 Decemeber 2009

tenative for the day

lecture > sleep > Ipoh Parade > Movie > Firework Show > Eat > Go back.

That was the REAL tentative, but as we all know planned work doesnt always work with us crazy minded people. hahaha.
The first 6 tentative was going on smoothly until someone of us 10 says:

"Weh, kete ni sewa sampai 8 pagi esok ni! Takkkan la nak bazir duit camtu je kot??"

Playing with shutter speed is indeed, addicting :)

Then we all in silent mode, starting to get our thinking hat to work(really), so they ask to wear the white hat. The information :)
What are the places that we can go over the night? Imagine 10 brains working together! So there is many suggestion such as UK, PARIS, LONDON, JAPAN, KOREA, AFRICA, but sadly all of them was a big joke.

At Ipoh Parade parking lot :)

Hardly deciding which coffee to be taken(oldtown ok)

Always been my favorite, OldTown Hazelnut White Coffee :)

Then someone voice out saying that we should go to Genting. Then i wore my red hat, GENTING??? WATTT TEFFF? Seriously guys?? So most of us agreed,
but before that we have to go back to UTP first since we are not ready to face the world of Genting.hahaha.(actually we want to take the camera
charger n some people phone.)

So the journey of the year began :)

*****

1st January 2010

tentative of the day

UTP > Tapah > Genting > Genting Highland > Tapah > UTP

So I was forced to drive all the way to Tapah RnR. Luckly the car was fully automatic. It doesnt matter anyway cause it is morning and there is not so many driver still awake.(FIRST TIME driving a long distance :))) Drive drive drive then we reach tapah just in time for Subuh prayer. pray pray. then 'lepak' around to get some energy.

Going for a breakfast

Syamad continue my position as a driver as he say the road next are for 'skilled' and 'experienced' drive. Yerr right!
So i take my time to take a nap on the back seat. zzzzzzz. half an hour later we reach genting. NO? noway the journey is that fast. I woke up, do some taichi and continue our journey.

As we we climbing uphill to Genting we saw something we never have seen before.........

(to be continued)

p/s: suspen x? hahaha. cm bangang je. hahahahahaha
p/s: dah mula ada keyakinan driving :)
