SEDEX oh SEDEX!

SEDEX stands for Science and Engineering Design Exhibition, an event that first introduced in 1997, as a platform for student of UTP to showcase their creative innovation and projects. Happening twice a year, this semester SEDEX is the 30th installment. Which means it's been 15 years since it's started :O

So yeah, i've managed to get into SEDEX. Just what i hoped in the early of the semester. Although throughout the semester, with studies and Robocon in mind, i've lost my interest in this exhibition. Even until the day of evaluation, we are pretty much occupied by test and such, we didn't focus much on the presentation.

But Alhamdulillah, we managed to secure a position in the top 30 of the overall 80 teams that fight for the postition. Maybe it's pure luck, maybe it's because we deserve it, maybe because of both.

Well, my team project is simple actually. We make a device that can cool the interior of the car when the car is parked under direct sunlight. You know how weather in Malaysia right? So hot. So that each time you want to get into your car, you need to wait for quite some time before getting in due to the excessive heat inside the car, and also due to chemical particles airborne from the dashboard and such.

Although i didn't really anticipate to compete in the competition, we are lucky to get in nevertheless. The result will be out tomorrow. Whether it's Gold Medal, Silver, or none at all i don't really mind. Because we have tried our best with this project, and as a team leader, im already satisfy with this achievement :D
